My son and I went on a Sunday evening. First time, traveling through I checked Yelp and this looked good. Creatively decorated, clean, prompt service. Everyone else is recommending the Combo Mexican plate, so, being in New Mexico I felt I should give it a try. It was as good as everyone says. My son had chicken fajitas and said they were very good too. The salsa is made fresh every day, and is the best I have ever had. It's spicy and delicious I would have tried the soplapias but was way too full They have a big menu- I'll be back
Traveling through town and came across this restaurant. It was a Sunday evening so very limited options to choose from. We ventured out way and have them a try. We were greeted very friendly and seated in a cute booth. The tapestry fits right in a centered around Route 66. We each ordered something different and they were average for the area. Chicken enchiladas were flavorful, but the beans tasted as they came out of a can. The other two ordered a burger and fries and we're happy with their meal. They have a neat old school ambiance, large dance floor for events and the environment was clean. The paintings all around were well done and captured our eyes. The ones that are painted right next to booths were a bit odd, but we agreed they were done very well. Like life like. If we are in this area again I would return to experience the local home town restaurant!
Holy frijole! The atmosphere was cozy and the Pow Wow fajitas were divine. We started with chips and salsa - tasty. We were then served two cast iron plates of sizzling steak fajitas. And when I say steak, I mean steak. The meat was so good. It wasn't the usual low grade skirt steak. These chunks of meat would make a cave man cry. The fajitas were served with guacamole, pico, sour cream, shredded cheese and tasty rice and beans. Everything was so delicious. And complimentary sopapillas were the cherry on top. My only suggestion is that the fajitas should come with more than two tortillas. We paid $1.50 extra for a couple more because two really isn't enough. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are anywhere in the area. This place was packed - and for good reason. Five big stars.
Don't be fooled by the outside appearance. This is a quality restaurant and lounge with great food and very friendly people. Clean restroom. Large menu and serves a verity of beers and and quality wine. The owner was not too busy to stop by and made me feel appreciated and welcomed. Once again don't be put off by the outside. Go on in and discover this quality restaurant.
